EQUINE MASSAGE FOR PERFORMANCE HORSES, DVD
The Masterson Method by Jim Masterson
Jim Masterson teaches a new form of Equine Massage, The Masterson
Method, to help keep your horse in alignment so he can do his best. Jim
travels the country and the world working on performance horses from
local show horses to International Endurance horses to Grand Prix
jumpers. Jim is certified in Equine Sports Massage, Equine Cranial
Therapy and has a wellness philosophy for the equine athlete which
integrates touch and the response of the horse as a therapeutic modality
which methodically and directly addresses muscular tension, spasms and
scar tissue. It relies upon a light touch and focuses upon the central
nervous system in an effort to detect and correct restrictions and
imbalances throughout the body. Using the Masterson Method, will
increase the performance of the horse which ultimately translates into
dollars and cents!
This DVD will help you to recognize eight neuro-muscular responses of
the horse to your touch, and how to use those responses to find and
release accumulated stress deep in the connective tissues and muscles of
your horse. Jim shows a complete treatment that covers the key junctions
of the body most commonly pulled out of alignment in performance horses.
By using the four steps of the Masterson Method the horse shows us where
tension is stored, how much is being released, and best of all,he
participates in the process!
Learn how to use this unique method in a clear, 75 minute, step-by-step,
hands-on DVD that teaches you the 8 responses to look for as well as
over 24 specific techniques that will allow you to release muscle and
structural stress in the key areas of your horse that most affect his
ability to move and do his best.
