| One day last summer I
decided to give the 2 year old colts a trailer loading
lesson as they hadn't been in that scary contraption for
the better part of a year. We drove the truck and trailer
into their pasture, planning to give them the chance to
investigate it before even thinking about loading any of
them. We let the ramp down and opened the doors and while
I was rummaging around in the pickup bed for the alfalfa
snack I'd brought hoping to entice them into checking out
the interior, I suddenly felt the truck bed jumping up and
down. It seems that all three of the colts immediately
marched into the trailer to see what it was all about! So
much for Trailer Loading 101, but it did give us a cute
photo op! |
