Greener Grass on your side of the fence!

Overseeding mix
Winter is always hard on high traffic areas near gates or water supplies and in smallish pastures. If you want a quick flush of green and a hardy carpet later on, our Overseeding mix will fill the bill. Consisting of 50% annual ryegrass for a quick start and 50% perennial ryegrass for the long haul. Perennial ryegrass is known for its quick recovery from intensive grazing as well as its ability to take root on heavy and/or wet soils. Broadcast at the rate of 25-40 lbs./acre. Begin broadcasting small amounts of this on your pasture problem areas as soon as the weather begins to warm and continue to do so on a weekly basis to minimize winter's damage. Supplied in 25 lb. bags. Ships F.O.B.
Overseeding Mix #ST116 $40/bag - 6 or more $36.25/bag

Staged Maturity for Pasture or Hay
Designed for pastures where rotation is not feasible (most horse pastures), this mix features grasses selected to mature at varying rates for a longer growing season. An excellent choice for hay, too, since it assures a larger percentage of palatable plants, even when rain delays the haying season. After-hay grazing quality is also improved. Apply broadcast at 25-40 lbs/acres on new ground or as an overseed or 10-20 lbs/acre if grain drilled into a prepared seedbed. 25 lb. bags. Ships F.O.B.
Staged Maturity Pasture/Hay #ST117 $51.25/bag - 6 or more $47.50

Late Summer Grazing Mix
This pasture is designed for dryer areas and can produce with less soil moisture making it suitable in the south as well as a later season mix for other areas. 25 to forty lbs./acre broadcast. 25 lb. bags. Ships F.O.B.
Late Summer Mix #ST118 $58/bag - 6 or more $54.25/bag
