We're living proof that you can

that A.I. was the way to go, we initially engaged the services of an
equine reproduction special-ist, but when she changed her practice
to frozen semen only, we made the decision to try it ourselves. What
we found out is that it isn't rocket science - with some good

home. We developed this phantom from available designs - adding
features to enhance its strength and safety. We've collected many
experienced stallions and trained youngsters using this phantom -

Breeding Phantom
Ships in 1-2 weeksWe call ours "Gertrude" and she
resides in a cordoned off corner of the stallion turnout paddock. We
know when spring is near because the boys begin hanging out near the
fence and chatting with her. This breeding phantom is sturdy, safe, easy
to use and adjusts quickly in both height and angle. We've found it easy
to use to train inexperienced stallions and all our boys accept it
readily. Collection is easier due to the cutaway panel, yet there's
still plenty of support for your stallion's comfort. The cover is
especially tough and tear resistant and is removable. Two layers of foam
padding increase comfort and make it easier to grip. Economical to
purchase and easy to install.
Easily adjusts in height for a wide range of stallions from ponies to
draft horses. Angle can be adjusted to suit your stallion's preference.
The cutaway panel makes positioning easy for the A.V. handler and the
design is much safer for the stallion than phantoms with built-in A.V.
Phantom detaches from legs and can be stored out of the way during the
winter (legs also detach at ground level). The Phantom body is easily
handled by two people. An extra set of legs is an economical solution to
the need to have a phantom at more than one location.
Removable cover is made of industrial
fabric that is mildew-proof for outdoor use and storage. Replacement
covers are available.
